Known issues
GasPass is a test version. This page lists what is unfinished, experimental, or worth knowing before you rely on it. It is updated with each release.
Always check your own work. Every calculation and record must be checked against the current standards and the manufacturer's instructions. GasPass is a tool to help you — the decisions and the paperwork are yours.
Experimental
- Flue gas analyser (Bluetooth) — works with the testo 330-2 LL only for now, as that is the analyser it has been tested with. More analysers will be added. Always check captured readings against the analyser's own display.
Not available yet
- Heat loss calculations are not available on phones yet.
- Team use — sharing jobs and customers between several engineers is planned for a later version.
- Play Store and App Store — for now, Android installs from this website and iPhone through TestFlight.
Worth knowing
- Your data is only on your phone. There is no cloud copy. GasPass makes automatic backups on the phone, and you should also save a backup somewhere else regularly (Settings › Backup).
- Never uninstall to update — it deletes your data. Install new versions over the top.
- EPC lookups need your own free key from the government register. GasPass shows you how in Settings › Lookups.
- Address search needs an internet connection; the rest of the app works without one.
