GasPass isn't on the Play Store yet, so you install it straight from here. It takes about two minutes.

Updating? Never uninstall first. Uninstalling GasPass deletes everything stored in it. To update, just download the new version and install it over the top — your data stays.

How to install

  1. Tap Download Your browser may warn that this type of file can harm your device. That's the standard warning for any app not from the Play Store — tap Download anyway.
  2. Open the file Tap the download notification, or find GasPass-…apk in your Downloads.
  3. Allow installing from your browser The first time, Android asks you to allow this source. Tap Settings, switch on Allow from this source, then go back.
  4. Tap Install If Google Play Protect says it doesn't recognise the developer, tap More details › Install anyway. GasPass is new, so Play Protect hasn't seen it before.
  5. Open GasPass Read the test-version notice, tick the box, and set up your profile.

Is it safe?

Every GasPass release is signed with the same key, so Android will only install an update that really comes from GasPass. To check your download matches, compare its SHA-256 with the one above. The signing certificate's SHA-256 fingerprint is:
